This is my 3rd one of these in the last few years. That should be all you need to know. I have a black one and a white one and wear one or the other whenever I go running. They offer a streamlined but comfey fit, and great sun protection. My one gripe is that the white one gets yellowed by sweat stains pretty quickly but, what the heck, I'm not exactly trying to look like a fashion model while I'm out sweating and running.
Would appreciate a version with no branding/text.

Fit was great, esp. after searching for hats that fit for so long. My only complaints were that I had hoped the fabric would be a little bit more breathable (I bought it for running but now wear it mostly out and about) and that the brim got some discoloration (a weird purple stain) almost immediately. Either way, I love it and will definitely be repurchasing!

Finding an XL running cap has been a challenge until I ran across OddJobHats. The hat is not just fitted around the circumference of the head, but is also fuller over the top to accommodate a larger cranium. I wear a 8 1/4 size and the XL fits perfectly. It is also a very well made hat with attention to detail, visibility and comfort. Very high quality!

I have 4 hats from Oddjob and the Oddjob Runner is by far the best. I wear it almost every day. I have a 7 and 3/4 hat size but have never found a hat that fits nearly as well. (other odd job hats are a huge improvement, but this is even better with the adjustable buckle in the back). Glad to see they've recently come out with the white color, which I'll be buying. If they come out with more colors I'll likely buy those too.

I really like the fit of this "running" hat. No issues there, Oddjob did a fantastic job as far as the size/fit category goes - best on market IMHO. My only beef (really a friendly plea to Oddjob to come out with an improved version 2) has to do with the material the hat is made from. The problem is that the material does not breathe - at all. It is a very tight weave poly fabric that feels more like a nautical fabric from which a sail or tarp would be fabricated, not a running hat. Simply put the fabric does not breathe and on hot summer days like we're having now in the midwest, the hat is uncomfortably hot for anything more than a few miles. Sadly, this problem could easily have been dealt with by including multiple venting holes over the entire surface area of the hat, or better yet by using a lighter, more open weave or mesh fabric that is typically found on athletic/running hats. Another small (but annoying) issue is that the colors from the small green patches located above the brim bleed out a yellow color that tarnishes the otherwise clean appearance of the predominantly white background fabric. Overall the hat is a decent first attempt that I hope will be followed up with an improved version that addresses the issues I've mentioned.

First, I can't believe I own a hat that's (a tiny bit) too large for me! This has never happened before in my life. Or maybe I'm just so used to hats squeezing my head that when this one doesn't, it messes with my perception. But I'll definitely want to try it in an XL next time.
As a running hat, it's generally pretty good. The material is a bit thicker than other running hats, which may make it last longer but also makes it warmer. It could use some ventilation on hot days. On the other hand, I love how the bottom of the brim is dark. That reduces the glare on my eyes noticeably.

I am so glad to see a running hat for us big-heads! I've been looking for one for years. I took it on two runs in the CA desert last week and it did me well--kept the sun off my face and kept my head cool. I'll be using this a lot and probably buying more.
A couple small gripes:
After two runs, there's already a pretty gnarly sweat-stain around the bill. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the bands that OJ uses inside their hats because I had a similar issue with the turquoise Dad Hat last year: it got bleached out and discolored around the seam on the brim after a couple weeks of wear. And, no, I'm not an especially sweaty person!
I wish there was somewhere to tuck the adjustable strap in the back of the hat. It's flapping around on mine--see pic.
Finally, I don't love the branding. The color looks like an old Google logo. I'd prefer a plain hat.
